It is a Betfair policy to verify our customers as an integrity and security measure.
In order to assist us with this security procedure, we ask that you send us a photocopy or scan of one document from each of the categories listed below:
Personal Identification - a copy of one the following photo ID's:
o Passport (full front photo page, including algorithm at the bottom)
o Driving License (full card)
o National Identification Card (photographic ID required)
o Citizenship Certificate
Address Verification - a copy of one of the following:
o Utility Bill (less than 3 months old)
o Tax Bill (less than 3 months old)
o Bank Statement (less than 3 months old)
Source of payment verification - a copy of one of the following:
o Credit or Debit Card registered on Betfair account (front only)please blank out all digits except for the last four of the account and card numbers, leaving the start and expiry date visible.
o Credit or Debit Card account Statement of a Betfair registered card (less than 3 months old)
o Bank Statement - must have Betfair transaction visible on it (less than 3 months old)
Please remember to inform us of your Username.
If you currently have funds in your Australian Wallet, or wish to transfer funds in the future you will need to provide us with copies of your official documents certified by a community leader, i. e. teacher, councillor, medical practitioner, dentist, pharmacist, etc.
PLEASE NOTE:
o Do no send original documents, but rather copies of these documents.
o The documents must be clear and legible. NB: please DO NOT include your password in any correspondence.
o For your personal security and integrity of your bank cards, please blank out all digits of your card number EXCEPT the last 4 digits. Please, do not blank out the start date and expiry date and you name on the card.
o Send documents that state your residential address. Regrettably, documents addressed to a P.O. Box Number are unacceptable for validation.
o Please send scans in JPEG or GIF file formats only with a maximum size of 10MB per page.
